The Truth about MLM Companies
by Paul Banks SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW Just a short dream this time...and not nearly so frustrating as yesterday's. Above you, a well defined rainbow arches across the sky. One end of it disappears behind a small cluster of trees nearby. You begin You're in a beautiful field. Green grass and wildflowers, damp from the warm summer rain, spread before you all the way to the horizon. walking toward the trees. There it is! Right there under the oak tree. A huge, black pot, at least ten feet tall, filled and overflowing with gold coins, glistening in the sun. Millions and millions of dollars in pure gold and it's ALL YOURS! End of Dream. NOW, THE MLM INTERPRETATION OF THE DREAM The beautiful field of grass and wildflowers represents the opportunity. It's always presented as pristine, colorful and wholesome. You can just see yourself in the picture! The rainbow that arches across the sky represents the compensation plan. Just follow the multi-colored road to wealth. The pot of gold represents the financial rewards promised by MLM. The fact that it is overflowing with gold means that, once you find it, your financial worries are over. You'll have money flowing into your bank account for the rest of your life, then the flow will continue for your loved ones long after you are gone! In other words, in the dream MLM represents the fast-track to wealth. THE TRUTH ABOUT THE FAST-TRACK For most, it doesn't exist in MLM. Instead, there is a dizzying merry-go-round that goes nowhere. For the typical MLMer it works like this. They join an exciting NEW program (trying to be among the first hundred) and wait for the expected automatic explosive growth. Of course, the growth doesn't happen because the typical MLMer cannot recruit. After a couple of months another new hype-mill startup catches their attention and they again scramble to get in first. Once again, they buy into slogans like: "Pre-launch less than 24 hours ago. Billion dollar parent company. Destined to be the next driving force in MLM. Get in fast!" "New magic dust pill cures everything from warts to constipation. Everyone on the planet will buy this product. This virtually guarantees your success!" "Double-match-quadruple-reversed bubble matrix with forced one-line backend comp plan creates automatic residual income. Early adopters will earn a fortune!" "Do nothing and get rich. Just sign up and our super-recruiters will build your business for you. Just wait by your mailbox for your checks!" "Super Joe Networker, famous multi-level millionaire, came out of retirement to join our company. Because he's here, your success is inevitable!" CAN WE TALK?? Is it any wonder that 95% of all MLMers continue to fail? But it is not only the fast-track hype that leads to failure. THE TRUTH ABOUT RECRUITING SYSTEMS None of the current MLM recruiting systems work. This includes the "fully automated" Internet systems that have become popular recently. Why? Because even though they lead the prospect through a maze of sales hype, they STILL depend on the MLMer to actually close the sale. Since 95% of MLMers can't close the sale, the system collapses. Since most of the people you recruit (assuming you CAN recruit) can't close sales, your downline can't grow. This remains true regardless of the recruiting system. The only way to REALLY grow your business is to find a way that can create true duplication. That can only happen if every associate, including the weakest link in your group, can succeed. Any system that still requires someone to close the sale is destined to fail 95% of the time. It's that simple. Let's face it. Recruiting is a problem! THE TRUTH ABOUT INTERNET MARKETING COURSES Familiar SPAM emails you've probably seen: "Earn money while you sleep! Our A to Z Internet Marketing Course reveals the secrets of Internet success" "Learn how Grandma Mable made $1,256 with this MLM Course.
